St. Claret School was established in 2013 by the Claretian Missionaries of the St. Thomas Province (Karukutty - Kerala) of the International Congregation of Catholic Priests and Brothers. St. Claret School is owned and managed by the St. Claret Educational Society, Kaghaznagar. The Manager of the school is the ex-officio Chairman of the Society. The Congregation which is called, Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary of the Claretian Missionaries was founded on July 16, 1849, by St. Antony Mary Claret, in Spain. At present, there are over 3,000 Claretians working in 63 countries. On fire with the love of God and fellow human beings, they engage in pastoral, social and educational endeavours to promote human life and dignity.
In India, there are over 600 Claretians working in twelve states. They serve the poor and the marginalized through pastoral spiritual animation educational endeavours, and care for the leprosy, ex-prisoners, the blind, the differently-abled tribals and Dalits. In India, they run more than 50 educational institutions, which include schools, colleges and institutes of higher learning.
