St. Claret School celebrated the Teachers’ Day on 5th September with great enthusiasm. The whole program was organised by the student council of class 10. The student- teachers of each and every class had a memorable moment in their classroom with their students.

The teachers and students gathered in the Auditorium in order to celebrate the Teachers’ Day. The auditorium was beautifully decorated with flowers, banners, and festoons. A warm welcome at the school staff room with flowers was a pleasant surprise for all the teachers.

The program started at 10.45a.m. with the lighting of Candles. The Manager of the school Rev. Fr Joshy and Principal of the school Rev. Fr Dominic presided over the function. He put a garland on the photograph of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan to pay him homage. Then the Principal congratulated the teachers and acknowledged the sincere efforts they put every day. He gave a valuable speech on Dr. Radhakrishnan and explained the importance of Teachers’ Day.

Some students also expressed their gratitude towards the teachers by giving short speeches. Students performed cultural activities like dance, songs, dramas, etc. on this special occasion. The students also arranged some fun games for the teachers to entertain them. All the teachers enjoyed and appreciated the program. Some gifts were given to the teachers. The program was concluded with an agape (Lunch).
